Center axle trailers

Center axle trailers are trailers, equipped with a towing device which can move vertically in relation to the trailer and in which the axle (s) are located near the center of gravity evenly of the loaded vehicle. That is only a small part of the vertical load (not exceeding 10% of that which corresponds to the maximum mass of the trailer or load of 1000 daN, whichever is less) is transferred to the towing vehicle.

One or more axes can be driven by a towing vehicle.
